Thank you, Dennis, for providing this scorecard. Us common folk don't have time to research all the details--we just believe what Big Brother tells us most of the time--who are the good guys and who are the bad guys.

I pray (and work) for that day when the human species evolves to the point where we aren't always angling for an advantage over our fellow creatures, but instead understand that we are all connected.

Belief in Big Brother is patently ridiculous! I don't think I'm smarter or more informed than a large percentage of the world. and I suppose 'Believing Is Seeing'. Outdated and incorrect beliefs without critical attention correcting has become a matter of life and death . It's obvious that all of Big Brother belong behind bars for Life, before it kills us all! Nuclear war or Climate Change brought to you by Big Brother will end all, in the very near future. What the despicable Big Bros are doing is despicable. And we, the disenfranchised are Cowards. Home of the Brave, My Ass. More like Home of the Zombies.

Thank you, Dennis, my former next-door congressman. I miss having you and Stephanie Tubbs-Jones in the House. Now I have Shontel Brown, a Barbie Doll who consistently votes for war and genocide.

Anyway, great factual article and thank you for sharing it. Tulsi Gabbard seems to think we were at war with Al-Qaeda, whereas we were really just waging war for profit and Empire. Whom we're fighting doesn't matter so much as long as we are fighting somebody.

The grift must flow.

Dennis, I see you still think Al Qaeda flew planes into the World Trade Center. Yes that is the official government narrative, but if you really looked into the evidence ,you would see that the 911 story if far from the true. The official narrative would have never convicted any brown skinned person of those crimes in a court of law. The evidence points elsewhere. We used Al Qaeda as an enemy to get the Patriot act ,and an invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan .mission accomplished. We also trained ISIS in Jordan for our purposes in Syria. That is all documented. You have been duped. Al Qaeda was never our enemy. We used the idea of Islamic "terrorists" to gain consent from everyday Americans and we bought it hook, line and sinker. You seem confused about the scorecard, but it's because you believe all the propaganda. Al Qaeda has never changed leagues, owners, and managers. They have always been "ours" and they're batting a thousand.

this is a tactic to discredit any movement that is getting too close to the truth. it is part of a playbook to cast doubt . It's a playbook within "cover up." Support and publish the "crazies" that are there to cast doubt in an attempt to squelch the true evidence that has been uncovered by serious and smart people

It's good to see you here, FF. And nice reference to Reagan's idiocy.

It's pretty sad when the seemingly most stable nation in the region is Iran. Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and the Palestinian Territories are a friggin' mess. Israel's a mess also, for different reasons. The Ayatollah, Rock of Stability. At least until the next non-Trump President signs a finding to do away with them. If it cost many billions to oust Assad, we better fire up the money-printing machines for Iran.

I can believe a hologram of Tupac performing, in a dark, controlled arena environment. Holograms that everyone saw live and on TV? The technology must have advanced pretty well. What happened to the people who were on the "ghost" planes? There were actual emotional family members--Solicitor General Ted Olson's wife was on the "plane" that hit the Pentagon. The families of others could be done by actors for the news cameras. Did they get an Olson lookalike? What happened to his wife? Was she killed to keep the story straight?

And how come there hasn't been a hologram Beatles reunion? I mean, c'mon, priorities!

The hypothesis (that's the right word) of Rebekka Roth, a former airline flight attendant, is that the real planes landed in Western MA at a military air field and were gassed and later disposed of (in the ocean?) and the the substitute planes were remotely controlled. She said that lots of airline employees bought that hypothesis.

Expand full comment
Lawyers Guns & Money's avatar

Well, if the sexy stews say it, it must be right, renowned aviation experts they are.

You don't believe that, do you? Did they force passengers, upon arriving at the military airfield, to make calls and send texts to loved ones about the hijacked planes they were (supposedly) on? And then killed them after that? It's a stretch to believe even Dick Cheney would go that far.

Expand full comment
Jon Olsen's avatar

Messages from the planes at some 30,000 feet were not possible at that time. But as for Rebekka's hypothesis, I am merely reporting a possible scenario, not claiming validity. Yes, Cheney was that bad, deeply engaged in the events of that day, by circumstantial evidence. "Satirists of the World Unite! You Have Nothing to Lose but your Cheneys!" paraphrasing Marx.

You are mincing words. It is much worse and it is one of the most egregious crimes of modern times - after the contrived invasion of Afghanistan, after the illegal, based on lies invasion in Iraq, after sodomizing Colonel Muammar al-Qaddafi and destroying Libya, the destruction of Syria represents another chapter in the fascist, imperialist history with the consequences of having head choppers now acting as "good boys". There is much too much of "Yes, they are bastards - but they are our bastards" mindset at work. Everybody that has been behind this ouster deserves the death penalty. Unless of course, one loves this kind of depraved behavior.

Absolutely. That is the reason the world goes to hell in a hand basket. The hypocrisy of opposing the death penalty - as long as one is not affected by crimes against humanity, one is against the death penalty.

Make no mistake, I am also against the death penalty - in a good and healthy society. The criminals that have altered the fate of the United States forever will keep on with their deranged visions of 500 million earth dwellers. I know that I am not one of those 500M. Are you?

I have only one disagreement with you in regards to alqueda. You left out an extremely important part which is the role the U.S., Pakistan and Saudi Arabia played in creating this terrorist group. The Saudis gathered the men who were armed and trained in Pakistan, by the U.S. Special Forces/CIA. Those who hijacked U.S. Planes were living in FBI informants homes and trained at U.S. airports including the man caught by then FBI Agent Coleen Rowley who was training at MSP. Bush and Cheney knew this attack was going to take place and when. This is why any U.S. Airforce which could possibly intercepted them were busy elsewhere. They needed this to pass the Patriot Act AND to invade Afghanistan as one of the 7 Mideast Nations the U.S. planned to invade and occupy.

Dear Dennis: This is the world we live in. Machiavellian realpolitik, murder, and arms dealers. Schemers and killers kept far from public sight. I tried to stop them in the anti-war movement. But they weren't stopped. We outnumber them. But the money, and more importantly, the law are cemented in their favor masquerading as national security policy. I'm so sorry. Awareness is better than ignorance. But neither stops the killers until the laws change.

What is this nonsense? Surely you are better than relying on these sorts of conspiracy theories. AQ already won in Afghanistan, and none of these far-right or far-left conspiracy theorists can claim that the U$ ushered in AQ to power in Afghanistan. The U$ and all its allies fought a 20-year war to try and defeat AQ and its main state-sponsor - the Taliban. They left in defeat. In Syria, you have a *former* AQ leader who has essentially turned against AQ, coming to power. And the Syrian rebellion against Assad was composed of many different players...not just AQ or IS or HTS. It is actually a victory for the U$ against AQ to have the leader of HTS on their side (directly or indirectly) and having his forces (HTS and their allies) be backed by Turkey/NATO as a counter to Russia/Iran. This is foreign affairs 101. But the online disinformation machine (also championed by Trump and his supporters) look to mix fantasy/conspiracy with reality/truth so that no one is able to understand much of anything. Trump's agenda is Christian Zionism (after more liberal forms of Zionism have fallen apart under their own absurdity).
