Dennis Kucinich -

We the People need to clone you, a stalwart voice for integrity and humanity! Nearly everyone I know is apprehensive about the cruelties in store for today's young families. Sociopaths are in charge, but too few Americans are cognizant of that reality. I'm a Depression kid who grew up learning that "America was making the world safe for democracy". If only! Now, the "land of the free and the home of the brave" excels at militarism and participates in genocide.

It makes my hear ache, what these people have to suffer. And my tax dollars contributing to their plight. Thanks for being such a clear voice for truth and sanity.

I have no argument with your points or position. And this present "peace plan" is basically a surrender agreement posing as diplomacy; without Palestinians being included in the crafting it was a failure before the ink was dry. But......I think it important to maintain a distinction between Palestinians and Hamas. Before this war, from the time Hamas took control (it won only a third of the vote in the 2005 election) it was/is a dictatorial regime that denies freedom of speech, religion, self-expression and there has not been an election since. I believe Palestinians would prefer to be governed differently. So this is a problem that is not addressed in any agreement and needs to be dealt with when the war ends in terms of what entity will take over the administration of an independent Palestine - including getting back the West Bank. It must be a Palestinian Party that wants to restart a move to govern by consent of the governed. This is the real issue for the people and no one seems to be addressing it. This is mostly due to the wrong people making decisions. I don't have the answers, but I know what aren't the answers. And I believe there are people who could be creating good and fair solutions, if given the chance and authority.
